"I got a head full of ideas, that are drivin' me insane" - bob dylan

Hailing from Georgetown, Kentucky with deep roots in the eastern side of the state, Logan Carver is a singer-songwriting raconteur who now calls Lexington, Kentucky his home. He is finishing up a semester of studying abroad in Guatemala where he was able to get away from the busy life in the United States and write some of his best songs yet.

While he grew up in central Kentucky, Logan spent a lot of time in Harlan County with his grandparents. This time spent in the hills sparked his love for music. Some of his earliest memories include singing Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn in the backseat of a car, driving on the curvy roads in the Appalachian  Mountains.

He learned how to play guitar in high school after being inspired to learn from watching Jack White build a guitar out of 2x4, a nail, some wire, and a pickup. "Who said you need to buy a guitar?" He was a fast learner and eventually started to sing and write his songs. What sets him apart is his broad musical influences which include Drive-By Truckers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kid Cudi, Keith Whitley, and U2. These vastly different styles and genres make themselves heard in Logan's music.

These days, he is still writing songs and is looking to hit the studio in Summer 2019 with hopes of releasing an EP in the Fall. He is also hoping to fill up his schedule with shows across the state and region.
